Post-16 Advice for Parents

Careers Advice is not just for Young People, Parents and Carers may also need support to help young people make tough and challenging decisions.

As a parent/carer, you are incredibly influential when it comes to the decisions your child makes in all areas of their lives and that is especially true when it comes to their education and careers.  We know that the choices which are open to your child today may be very different from when you were in their position and you may feel as if you’re unsure about what advice to offer.  The most important thing you can offer is the knowledge of where to find the right information.  The information and links shared will help to support you and your child with making those important decisions.

As part of our careers programme your child will learn about the different post-16 pathways, labour Market Information and will have access to the guidance and support of a qualified career advisor.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
