Student Leadership
We believe in developing our students and providing them with the guidance and opportunities to do so.
The school offers an abundance of opportunities to develop leadership skills and these include Form Ambassadors, the Autism Ambassador programme and our Year 11 Student Leadership Team. In addition, we also celebrate those who represent the school with commitment, honour and distinction through our prestigious School Colours Award.
School Colours
When students are recognised as role models for the consistent demonstration of the school values they can request to be considered for the School Colours Award. This can be a self-nomination made in writing or a nomination from their Form Tutor. The Senior Leadership Team will consider all nominations for School Colours.
If successful, students will be awarded a new tie showing all of the House colours (replacing the single colour they wear normally) to indicate the higher level status of their achievement. They also get a certificate and their name on the Honours Board in the main corridor.
